Bar du Pres
NGL, upon arrival, I completely missed the entrance to Bar du Pres, which is not clearly signed (something I feel ICD Brookfield could very easily do something about). Fortunately, once found, the lush lift lobby is a gorgeous start to the experience. On the 51st floor, windows soar and give dynamic views of the skyscrapers below (and beyond). For out-of-towners (and residents), it’s one of those true “wow” Dubai moments and a view of the city I’ve not seen before.
Fronted by/menu developed by Chef Cyril Lignac, the menu reads a bit similar to the recently visited Maison Revka, that is — Frenchy and also a bit Asian (officially, Franco-Asian). Nothing offensive and something for everyone.
