moonrise*

When the moonrise team casually mentioned I only visit once a year, well, they were right. My FB memories confirmed that I only make it to moonrise* annually, and I find it worth my time. That time, it should be mentioned, as the Eden Tower location is always a one-hour drive, no matter what time I leave. We can get into the food; however, while Chef Solemann dreams of his second (or third) star (and claims he will not move until this is achieved), I think the location of moonrise will still hamper this attempt, which reads as what it was — a pool bar. While the views of SZR are breathtaking, the traffic matches the location. There is a wow factor in the skyline, but those aren’t seen while dining.

Onto the food! My favorite dish? While the grilled cheese will forever hold a place in my heart, I was quite with the new Roots, a local tomato-based dish, which featured slick knif…
