Still vibin.'

Although expensive, I was impressed by my recent visit to Avli by Tasha’s, headed by group executive chef Jill Okkers. And although the portfolio isn’t my specific vibe, I can admit Tasha does an excellent job hiring a great team and creating an aesthetic. My last trip to Flamingo Room was in 2017 (2018, actually), so when an invitation recently arrived in my inbox, I thought, yeah, I should try some of the new dishes.

Let’s be honest; my attempts at Sober October haven’t been ideal. Therefore, choosing to go for lunch service is my usual technique to better keep myself in control (and cut down on current astronomic Careem fees across our busy Dubai roads).
