Happy Father’s Day!
Coterie was lovely and very (!) filling. We enjoyed the exceedingly generous portions, live music, and excellent service. I’m not even a traditional roast person, and I would be delighted to return. Top tip, make it an event with friends and plan to go with a group. And yes, kids are welcome…families have their own room, which was super appreciated. #invited
Monday saw me over to Dubai Eye to chat about K9 Friends. You can catch my conversation with Jen here (audio version here, listen from about 25:00) (and yes, we could always use your sponsorship, especially over the summer months — our most difficult time).
On Wednesday, I made my way to Tanne, which is something I wouldn’t usually do, but for someone who lives in Dubai, I am (admittedly) fairly pale. I loved the personalized experience, as well as the red light therapy. For dinner, it was time to check out Robata. From the team at Takahisa, I had to find out what AED250 ice cream tastes like (delicious). If you’re into A5 Wagyu, make plans to visit soon and enjoy their omakase approach. Check out our visit here. #invited
On Thursday, I visited Emmy Squared Pizza. Even though Pitfire is home to my beloved garlic knots, I think there is plenty of room in the market for a deep-dish Detroit-style pizza. Order the burrata pizza and authentic BANANA PUDDING — you won’t be disappointed! #invited
And finally, on Friday, I was back at the ARN Studio to chat with Helen about all things food. For dinner, Mohalla sent over a range of rolls and parathas, which were flaky, filling, and delicious! I was also delighted to receive a gorgeous cake from the team at Avatara. #gifted

Next week? Hosting and presenting at the Unilever Future Trends event (I hope to see some of you there!), the Bookers last meet-up before the summer (we all actually enjoyed this month’s book), my belated Dubai One segment, and a stay (with Poppy) at the W Mina Seyahi (!!!).
An invite to W50B did appear in my inbox on Monday, but with prior commitments, I am unable to make the trip to Valencia — however, wishing all chefs the best of luck at the awards! I’ll be tuning in and cheering everyone on.
