Sühring.**

#7 on Asia's 50 Best (2024). #23 on World's 50 Best Award (2024).

Like my visit to Le Du, I was able to visit Sühring in earlier years and, upon my arrival in October 2024, was impressed with how far our congenial hosts, the Sühring twins (Mathias and Thomas), have come—not only in service but also in elevating what was already a substantial selection of beautiful dishes. 

For our lunch reservation, our group is seated in the winter garden room, perfect for fall light. If anything, I would encourage diners to visit for lunch to best appreciate the surrounding lush garden. Well, enjoy for now, as the team informed us that the restaurant will undergo a bit of a facelift in 2025, expanding for private dining, a larger reception area, and more room for the kitchen.

Taking our seats in the sunlit room, from the start, the food is masterfully prepared and presented. Every portion is its own work of art, and that’s not me being hyperbolic. Course after course of beautiful and delicious plates arrive, leaving me to wonder how much room I have available. Howev…
