Restaurant Lee
On our first night in Estonia, we walked a short city tour after a long day of traveling (DXB - Stockholm - TLL). We ended at Restaurant Lee, a charming spot in Old Town Tallinn, helmed by Chef Hiro Takeda, a Canadian-born chef with Japanese roots. Highlights included the beautiful pumpkin dish (EUR11), a savory Japanese-style omelet with Kopra Karjamõisa organic eggs, green onion sour cream, crispy potato (EUR11.50), and my favorite for the evening, a divine dessert, the caramel barley pudding, sea buckthorn, dark chocolate ganache, hazelnuts (EUR8). Dishes are easily split between two people (and I’m crying at the pricing of their beautiful black bread and fresh butter, EUR1.50). With authentic, unique food and a great vibe, I would definitely plan to visit this location if you find yourself in the city.
