A leisurely weekend, thank you, and enjoyed a visit to Drift, which remains my favorite beach club in Dubai. With a new menu, excellent service, great music, no kids, and some awesome people watching, it’s my go-to for so many reasons. Have a look at our visit here. #invited
On Monday, the team at Marea/Tides sent over a lovely basket of goodies, which all but ensured a wonderful week ahead. I also received a wonderful set of beautifully created pastries from Margaux, opening at Mina A’Salam. And last but not least, Colombian brand Evok sent through a whole range of their products (check them out at MOE). #gifted
Wednesday saw us over to the new season at Avatara. Catch the visit here, and make plans to visit this fine dining vegetarian concept — Chef Rahul and his team are doing something special. #invited
And Thursday, I finally made my way to RSVP, one of the latest openings in Dubai. If you go, be sure to order the escargot, which is my favorite version in the city (sorry, LPM, you’ve been replaced). #invited
Projects are finally (?!) coming to fruition this week, so I think it’s going to be a busy fall. I’m looking forward to the new roles and contributions I’ll hopefully make in the industry. Of course, much like every freelancer in the UAE, nothing is official until there’s a signed contract… #Courtneystopbeingvague

This weekend? Planning our Lapland trip.
Next week? Let’s see what I actually get to. There’s Gunbae, the Abu Dhabi Michelin event, trying the new season at Moonrise, and lunch at Il Ristorante for a Remy Martin event. After a lazy summer, is it even possible to go out so much?
