Some deliveries this week! Jones Express, now opening in DIFC, sent over a few treats, and the Kakao Guy sent over the latest for the month (!), a divine coconut cheesecake (I’m not sure how they keep coming up with different flavors, but they do). #gifted
On Tuesday, I started the morning at the Dubai Tourism Gastronomy event, which included plenty of interesting information about the F&B industry (2022 was a great year) and upcoming activations to look forward to. There will be a full report coming out in the next week, which I encourage you to read. I also finally managed to visit Avli by Tasha’s — my first visit (!). Lots of familiar faces and a wonderful menu. Have a look at our evening here. #invited
On Wednesday, I couldn’t pass up an invitation to check out the Art of Kobe with Prime Gourmet and Country Hill International. A great event — lots of industry friends — with plenty of outstanding versions of Kobe to enjoy. #invited
Finally, to Thursday, dropping off Poppy at Woof (sobs) and some actual packing!!!
Friday was the long trip of DXB-DOH-ATL (made much easier in Qatar’s business class). We’ll be in the States for the next two weeks, and I’m already looking forward to all that’s planned when I get back.
