Closing in on finishing a rough draft of a manuscript (and passing 50K). Certain projects I’m very excited about moving forward (and I can’t wait to tell you about). A potential trip to Europe. I started the week on a high note at Koyo, which, aside from the car park entrance (!!!) offers a great launch menu at AED500 for three courses, plus dessert and drinks. With a beautiful interior, it might even tempt me back to the marina. Catch the Reel highlights here. #invited
On Monday, it was over to the launch of the Louis XIII Library at Peacock Alley (Waldorf Astoria DIFC). I love this brand and caught up with some new friends while enjoying an inventive cocktail (or three). Check out a few highlights of the evening here. #invited
For the rest of the week, I happily kept my head down. Of course, I’m always happy to receive new flavors from old favorites, and Pedalo Gelato sent through two new styles of gelato, Peaches & Dream and Mojito. Reader, the mojito flavor tasted exactly like a mojito. Dan’s Home Food has now launched Dan’s Burgers, which made for a tasty dinner on Wednesday. This is a go to for comfort food. #gifted
