The weirdly busy week.

Weekly A to Z, October 9th.

A week of progress is my favorite kind, incidentally.

The week started off on high note, with deliveries of Curious Elephant (their chili oil is a must, and we've already gone through half a jar in less than a week) and Blossom Honey (excellent if you're looking for products without preservatives).  I also received a box to cook Italian style couscous from Casinetto (my affiliate link is here, and if you're ordering, use ATOZ to save 10% on your order). We finished up the week cooking delicious Silver Fern Farms steaks (#collab).

By choice, I didn't go out that much, but my visit to KoKo Bay was definitely worth the trip.  Other than a bit of a strange parking situation, it's a great spot, AND it's dog friendly.

Next week already looks busy!  I'm going to drop into High Joint for their second anniversary (apparently, there is a 'tasting menu' involved).  I'm also out to La Serre with the book club and stopping in to check out a special menu at BOCA.  I might also stop by the Theatre of Digital Art at the Madinat. Also, did you know it’s Cucumber Day on October 17th?

Point of Conversation: Another one pulled from Twitter.  I had a lot of fun this week tracking the #IveBeeninDubaiSince hashtag. Lots of great answers and memories!  How long have you been in Dubai? No dates, just references.  Where are my Chi @ The Lodge people?

If you like this newsletter, consider telling a friend, purchasing my books, subscribing to my podcast, or buying me a coffee.
