Deliveries! The new plant-based range from Zahra’s Kitchen ensures our freezer is full of healthier snacks. Dinner from London Slide was a welcome treat (yes, to the milkshakes!!). MMI was also kind enough to send through a special certificate for the launch of their upcoming outlet at Jumeirah Golf Estates. #gifted
If you’re looking for weekend plans, I’m here to tell you that sundowners are a must at Smoke & Mirrors, located at SLS Dubai. Our experience was followed by the VEA collab dinner at Hakkasan (check out our visit here). On Sunday, the team at Odeon treated us to an incredible (and filling) lunch — shopping downstairs is optional, but I guarantee you’ll find something for your pantry (fancy French butter FTW). #invited
On Monday, I was delighted to finally dine at Jun’s. Chef Kelvin put together a small dinner at the main kitchen table with a range of unique dishes. Catch our experience here, and keep an eye out for future offers — they will be well worth checking out. #invited
Tuesday was my final night out for a while — and involved a great night with the Bookers at Couqley. #teamlionelbenedict
Otherwise, meetings and one of the best networking events I’ve attended in a while by the local and global Marriott luxury team at W the Palm. Honestly, I’m not sure what is in the air, but I had a ton of interesting conversations this week. As usual, I remain ever the optimist.

Next week? A busy bee! I’ll be visiting Armani* for their degustation on Monday, then off to Bahrain on Tuesday to experience La Table Krug by Y (and maybe sneaking over to Fusions by Tala) before returning and desperately hoping I can fit into my dress for Puppy Ball.
We’re at the end of October! What were my favorite dishes this month? There was a lot to choose from, however, in no particular order: Mongolian A5 Miyazaki wagyu beef fried rice from Jun’s, tagliolini with Alba truffle from Il Borro, and the crab roast from the Tresind Studio x Suhring collab. Honorable mentions to the incredible holiday feast at Spinney’s, baked feta and honey from Yava, and the secret broth and noodles course from the Chef Andy x Chef Vicky collab at Hakkasan.
What were your favorite dishes this month? Let me know!
