We finally visited The Grey in Savannah, have a look at our dinner here.
After a lazy weekend in the South (including a delicious brunch at The Husk), we finished our US trip by visiting family in Portland, Maine. Always on the lookout for new restaurants, we tried Twelve, which was my favorite meal of the trip. Check out our visit here. Drinks at Apres, Three of Strong distillery, Hunt + Alpine Club, and lunch at The Honey Paw made sure we did our best to help the local economy.
Finally, if you pick up this month’s Vogue Arabia, have a look at my first article! I wrote all about breathwork — fascinating stuff.
If I’m timing this right, we’re currently over the Atlantic (most likely champagne in hand), having just departed Boston on Qatar, heading to Dubai via Doha.

It was a crazy busy month of food, so narrowing things down was incredibly difficult! In no particular order: Grilled Cheese at moonrise xyz, Duckfat cornbread with sorghum butter at Georgia Boy, and Farrow Sabayon from Twelve. A special honorable mention to my mom’s peanut butter chocolate birthday cake for Eric, the new season at Tresind Studio, and scallops at The Grey. What were some of your favorites?
Next week, there’s not much of a moment to catch my breath. Dubai is back in full swing, with (hopefully) two events on Tuesday (and four invites - !) and more plans for Thursday. I am more than ready to get back to fitness goals, volunteering, and seeing what this fall season has in store.
