With a few ongoing projects, I found the best way to ignore one was to work on another. Somehow, this resulted in actual progress. It’s not my usual approach, but I was able to check a few things off my proverbial and ongoing checklist.
Given all of the above (and general traffic woes in Dubai), Wednesday was my (intentional) only night this week. I accepted an invitation to DuangDy at the One & Only Za’abeel. Chefs Bo Songvisava and Dylan Jones were in the kitchen to share some of their Thai eco-gastronomy. #invited
Otherwise, I’m hard at work editing a manuscript and prepping a book to be published next week. While most of my week was spent at the desk, there are some exciting culinary adventures on the way, including Lyon, and we’ll be in Sri Lanka for Eid (I’ve definitely not been drooling over our Airbnb all week).
Finally, a request! Are you a Gen Z diner? Young chef? Culinarily related? Please give me a shout — I’m looking for your opinion for an upcoming article. Many thanks!
