Weekly A to Z, March 12th.
The last 41 one.
After finishing our trip to Oman, on Wednesday, I was out to Atlantis to celebrate International Women’s Day. Our personally selected group represented some of my favorite F&B women, and I’m also proud to say I could easily fill a room with the women I admire (and would love to do so in future events). You can see our evening out here. #invited
On Thursday, I couldn’t pass up an invitation to Emirates Palace to try their latest restaurant, Talea by Antonio Guida (who I got to meet). I was able to stay in one of the recently updated rooms (Mandarin Oriental took over the property and have made some wonderful changes). My room was spacious and modern, the meal was elevated and delicious. If you want to see some of the highlights, click here. #invited
Some deliveries? Frumentum sent through a batch of gourmet popcorn in different flavors (yum). This would be my new go-to for movie night. #gifted
2022 has been such a blur that it only now occurs to me that my birthday is next week. 41 was a bit of everything, but I’m mostly happy with the balance and progress I’ve made in different parts of my life. Perhaps more than last year, I’m optimistic to see what 42 will bring.

This weekend I’ll be getting together with the Bookers, and trying to catch up on a busy past three weeks. I’m freelancing on a big project with Spinneys and it’s going to take up the bulk of my time. Next week, I’m so looking forward to celebrating my birthday and trying the new menu at Ossiano.
