It was a week, oui?
ICYMI, Tuesday was the inaugural Michelin awards. I literally got nothing else done. My DMs were on fire. I loved it. More than anything, and above feelings of who got what and who was missed off, I believe the Dubai F&B industry will only see a positive outcome from the guide. From those I spoke with, bookings have already seen a positive and steady increase. Honestly, anything that is better for the industry is a win in my book.
On Wednesday I was over to Time Out Market Dubai to film with Euronews (the segment should be out in July). It’s always easy to talk about my favorite local concepts when so many of them are in one place. In the evening I took a special guest over to Tresind Studio* (adding stars now to my newsletter and reviews makes me feel so proud). This marks the first time I’ve been and not documented every course — I’m honestly kind of proud of myself. #invited
On Friday, I was in need of a desperate cut and color and then over to Paramount for Helen’s 40th. Speakeasies and glitter? Sign me up.

This weekend? Catching up before another busy week! Invites are fast and furious before Eid, and my list of places to visit is entirely too long. We’re going for a long-overdue review at Sucre, and I’m also looking forward to trying Hidemasa next week.
