Sunday was an absolute delight, and 100% worth the late seating at Tresind Studio. The Chef Himanshu x Chef Christophe Hardiquest collab was memorable, with all new dishes. Some favorites? So glad you asked. The mustard-infused chicken kebab was a perfect combination of rich, savory broth, and herby texture. I also loved the Spaghettoni Indiani, served with jackfruit Foccacia. Much like the Lido 84 dish (which I fondly remember), this was a delightful portion of pasta. Here are some highlights from the evening, if you’d like to see. #invited

On Tuesday, I received some unexpected goodies, first from a Mexican bakery, Con Alma Mexicana (from the talented chefs at Andes, which I visited ages ago). My favorite? The Conchabor a México (but I’d happily order any of the pastries again). A second delivery arrived from long-time favorite For Real Dough, who has recently launched a range of peanut butter cookies and products. Peanut butter is Hubs’ weakness, so these were all appreciated (and won’t last long). #gifted

On Wednesday, it was time to get out of the house to Rumba, located in Club Vista Mare, which I haven’t visited in ages. While I think the service could be a bit improved, as well as the interior ventilation, the price points and portions are very generous. Here’s a video, if you’d like to see some of what we enjoyed. #invited

On Thursday, another new to me brand, Dough Pizza, located in JLT, sent me a selection of their menu, including the very delicious Crispy dough (topped with cinnamon and icing sugar). It’s in the same style as my beloved PitFire, but PitFire remains my favorite pizza in the UAE. #gifted
