How to help the people of Türkiye and Syria.
There is no good way to transition between tragedies like the one this week and the lighthearted nature of this newsletter. I hope you’ll allow me to continue and consider donating to an organization that means something to you. As a household, we’ve personally chosen UNICEF.
Any week would be a bit of a comedown after W50B, but I was glad to have the space. I made real and consistent progress on my current manuscript, had a great meeting with Dubai Tourism, filmed a video with Sidehustle (a reminder that I’m an investor but also really love the company), and made it to chat with Helen on Dubai Eye on Friday afternoon.
Some lovely deliveries, including TWG with a lovely Valentine’s hamper and Shop Sandy’s Kitchen sent over some simply incredible cookies (IYKYK, and yes, I shared with the ARN team). MMI also sent a gift certificate my way, and I’m going to pick up some of the newly launched Kylie Minogue Rosé collection this weekend. #gifted
Although I’ve been quite good about keeping to my diet, I did sneak out to sample a few bites from the menu at Tresind on Friday evening, now in its stunning new location at One & Only. #invited
Finally, I’m delighted to announce I’ll be working with Dubai Tourism as a Culinary Consultant for the upcoming Dubai Restaurant Week and Food Festival, running 21st April through 7th May. Got an idea for an activation for you or your client? No idea is too big or small! Please feel free to e-mail me directly: atozaatar@outlook.com • We’re searching for innovative and unique dining concepts and experiences, including master classes, Chef’s Tables, chef collaborations, and much more.
