A record for deliveries this week! MMI and Al Hamra were kind enough to send over not one, but two advent calendars — one beer, and one wine. We’ve had a lot of fun opening one every day. In addition, Naksha Collection recently did a collab with Lidija’s Kitchen and sent over a kit for Thanini Blondies, which I can’t wait to make. Koita collaborated with quite a few local businesses for a lovely batch of gifts (which made me quite popular with my parents). Special thanks to Lotsa Lazy Cake, Masks for Men, Freakin’ Healthy, BRW Society, Hello Chef, and Barry’s Boot Camp. Maison Duffour sent through their beautiful advent calendar, which we’ve been eating our way through. The team at Petit Pastry sent over the most gorgeous caneles, and The Entertainer delivered some goodies to enjoy in 2022. A final puzzle from Pickl rounded out the week. #gifted
On Wednesday, BOCA treated my parents and me to an absolutely lovely lunch. We were spoiled, and I sincerely appreciate all the kindness the team has shown me throughout the year. Sharing some of my favorite restaurants in Dubai is exactly how I want to showcase the city I love. I was also delighted to have my mom join us for book club on Wednesday night at Beach Bar and Grill, which is perfect terrace weather, and a very lovely spot (night or day). #invited
On Thursday, I accepted an invite to Cinque at Five the Palm, for an incredible chef’s lunch. You can find a quick peek at our lunch here, and I highly recommend stopping in for something different (and delicious) from Chef Giuseppe and team. #invited

This weekend we’ll be doing a bit of hiking, I’ll be presenting at Festival Plaza, and I can’t wait to (finally) take my parents to Tresind Studio. Next week has a few surprises in store, and I’m hoping the weather stays beautiful.
Safe travels wherever you may be going!
