Weekly A to Z, April 30th.
The one from Tangalle.
In advance of the holiday, Eid Mubarak!
Over the weekend, we genuinely enjoyed the omakase experience at Mitsu-ya (catch the visit here, #invited). If you’re looking for a reasonably priced omakase (AED575) with plenty of excellent seafood, make plans to stop in soon.
On Tuesday, I was invited with some of my other Touch colleagues to hear from Nader Sabry in a ‘mentor the mentors’ session about growth hacking. Lots to consider.
Some deliveries? The Lighthouse sent through a bunch of goodies, including a link to a playlist (love the creativity). Tandoor Tina also sent over an excellent ‘build your own’ dessert and chai set. #gifted

What were my favorite dishes this month? So glad you asked. In no particular order: Tandoori chicken dumpling, curry brodo from Tresind Studio. Deviled eggs from Woodford. The omakase experience at Mitsu-ya (okay, totally cheating here, but to me, this meal needs to be considered as a complete experience). What were some of your favorite dishes?
A new feature, My To-Do List (for May), which includes: finishing my Spinney’s project, planning my trip to London (July — suggestions welcome), attending ATM events, getting to some restaurants on my list (Canary Club, Inti, Demon Duck by Alvin Leung, Teible), catching up with a number of people, moving some projects (hopefully) forward, reading our book club book, and closing rings on my Apple Watch on a more regular basis. I’d also like to keep my alcohol intake to something reasonable (post-Eid). What’s on your list for May?
