Q-Suites for life.

Did I extend my vacation by attending a launch of the cocktail reception at Tresind Studio on Monday evening? I did. Do I have regrets? None. The Papadom Botanic Bar (part of the restaurant space) offers chic and sophisticated drinks curated by Dom Carella. The updated drinks pairing (and yes, you non-alcoholic drinkers are well looked after) is an excellent complement to the menu. #invited

A few goodies this week. Zahra’s Kitchen, now available at Spinneys, has finally launched and the team was nice enough to send some of the range over. #gifted

Otherwise, my inner introvert (and liver) were begging for a break, and I was happy to indulge in a few days of hermiting. With a few days at home, I was able to return to some proactive living instead of reacting to everything.

Links, please.

  • I was back in the studio with Helen! As fun as my previous calls have been, I really missed being live. Listen from 44:02 to hear our chat. Spotify

  • Last week — also on Helen’s show — Liam had a chat about the importance (and necessity) of disclosing when reviewers are invited. I fully agree, which is why you will always know when I’ve been invited, or something has been gifted. Further to this, I always wonder why people who are (obviously) working with brands don’t use the ‘paid partnership’ when posting. Dubai Eye

This weekend? Off to Mitsu-Ya, which I have heard great things about already.

Next week? Off to Sri Lanka for Eid! Traveling with friends to a fab villa. We’re taking all precautions, and I can’t wait to go.
