Like many of you, I think we were all caught off guard by the ferocity of the storm on Tuesday. Personally, Eric and I were incredibly fortunate, and while we were stuck between the 311 and 611 until Friday, there were so many who werenât as lucky. On our Amazon list? Flashlights, batteries, and a sub pump, along with other necessary flood-fighting items (although in a pinch, I was impressed by the sturdiness of our biodegradable garbage bags). As we recently returned from vacation, we were a bit understocked. Still, we were able to pull together some interesting meals before our local grocery was restocked (Spinneys delivery, I miss you). Finally, I think we all learned a lot this week about our employers, neighbors, and local Influencers, what they think of us, and how they act in a crisis.
