Eid Mubarak! 🌙✨ May this joyous occasion bring you and your loved ones peace, happiness, and countless blessings. Wishing you a beautiful Eid filled with delicious food, warm gatherings, and cherished memories. 💛🎉
On Tuesday, after K9, I returned to Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab for one of their other offerings, this time, Umi Kei. Located in The Fore, there is plenty on offer, including a sushi bar. My favorites of the evening were the hamachi carpaccio and the negitoro tartare, but we were also impressed by the dynamic mango/passion fruit dessert (yes, really). #invited
With some life administration for the remainder of the week, early on Friday, we were on the early flight to Colombo to meet up with friends and enjoy one of our favorite properties with some of our favorite people. Spoiler alert: the upgraded business class lounge at T2 for FlyDubai is very well done. I’d love for some travels to take me through here again sometime soon.

This weekend? Relaxing, trying to stay hydrated, and covered in sunscreen.
Next week? Relaxing! I feel like there is another busy wave ahead of us, and I want to be ready for it. Overall, I’m quite happy with how I spent my Ramadan. I was able to visit a lot of new restaurants and get through quite a bit of my to-do list (have no fear; it is never-ending).
What were my favorite dishes this month? Good question! I loved Chef Sara’s olive oil cake, the wagyu Scotch egg from Revolver, and the venison tartare from The Beam. All the extra bonus points to Girl & the Goose for my Cosmo, have you tried it yet?
