Last week’s activities caught up with me in the form of a nasty cold (not Covid!), which took me the better part of a week to get over (and my voice is still comically sick). Do not recommend, and my sincere appreciation for everyone who let me move things around in my schedule. However, I feel there is a lot more respect these days for saying ‘I’m not feeling well’ and meaning it, and genuinely not wanting to infect others.

On Wednesday, I did make it out to Gulfood to host at the Top Table, which was an honor. Were you at Gulfood this year? What did you find the most interesting?

On Monday, The Macallan sent through a bottle of their most recent collaboration, entitled The Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao, featuring subtle chocolate notes. I’ll be sharing with friends. #gifted

This weekend, I’m getting my umpteenth PCR test and heading out for brunch (!) to Tandoori Tina’s at 25hours.

I’m leaving for Italy on Monday and I’d love for you to follow along for my South Tyrol/Dolomites adventure. I’m attending a 4-Hands Dinner at AlpiNN with Andreas Caminada and Norbert Niederkofler, among other exciting meals. I’m looking forward to this exceptional experience, and appreciate the generous invitation. Send warm thoughts my way.
