At some point, I’m going to run out of adjectives to describe the beautiful plating and incredible service at Tresind Studio.

Today is not that day.

Given my recent visit to the new location at Nakheel Mall, while I could focus on the food and dissect every dish, given my long relationship with the restaurant — something I truly treasure — I thought I would reflect on what I think the new space offers, some gentle suggestions, and my hopes for the future.

The Highs Keep Getting Higher

  • While the aforementioned plating has always been a highlight, it has been a true pleasure to watch Chef Himanshu grow creatively. What’s better? Even with the accolades and awards, he’s still open to feedback. In a town full of chefs who ask but don’t really want to hear, it’s good to know communication is still open at the Studio and taken seriously.
