Having watched the Chef’s Table featuring Mashama Bailey (which I highly advise viewing), I knew plans would eventually bring me to Savannah, where my husband grew up. Once we had locked this year’s US trip, The Grey was a priority reservation for me, and I was happy to get a booking on a Saturday night.
The location is just as beautiful as it appears in the episode, with a retro vibe that stands apart in historic Savannah. Arriving a few minutes early, we stopped in the lounge for a quick drink. The bar team was lovely, and the section was absolutely buzzing. If you cannot secure reservations for the dining room, I highly suggest making plans to grab a drink and enjoy some of the bar bites menu.
