I’ll be very honest. The Potong collab at Ossiano* earlier in the year was among my least favorite dinners at the restaurant in the recent past (!). Therefore, I was delighted to have another chance to try Potong and their current “revolution” menu on my recent trip to Bangkok. In our meals, I think Chef Pam and her team have to win for the most unique location, as her venue has been a family home and business for five generations. Now upgraded into a restaurant and bar (Opium), it is a place where the cool kids hang out.
While I will go through highlights (and lowlights) of my experience, I cannot go another moment more without mentioning The Duck™. The Duck™ might be in contention as one of my favorite dishes of the year, but also, hands down, the best duck I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating.
