I somehow managed to find parking directly below the restaurant and arrived on time, so much on time that I (awkwardly) walked in on the pre-service team meeting. I (incorrectly) believed that as a beach club, by noon on a Thursday, there would be plenty of other people there.
Reader, there were not.
As I waited for my guest, I was asked not to take pictures, which I found incredibly strange. When I explained that Google Maps is my largest platform (57+ million views and counting), I was still asked to put my phone away. A month later, I’m still scratching my head about this interaction.
