I might make this into a series, IDK. After all, I have a never-ending supply of ‘not quite it’ photos. Essentially, I’ve been posting pictures of food and travel for 10 years. And while I am certainly not a massive influencer, I would like to say that I try my best to present an accurate reflection of the dishes I’ve eaten or the rooms I’ve stayed in. Furthermore, I far prefer static images to choppy Reels or videos where people talk too much. Personally, I feel there is already enough noise online, so I have gravitated towards still life. Sorry, potential properties and restaurants, but that’s just the way it is. The people who are good at Reels are excellent, and I am not one of them. No, I won’t go into a diatribe about the downfall of Instagram as a social media platform at this time. Ahem.

On the other hand, I’ve been managing social media for my restaurant since November 2024. On a daily basis, I see beautiful food captured terribly. Sorry, diners, I love you, but it takes a spe…
