I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Josette for afternoon tea before its official launch earlier in the year. Thus, I was delighted to accept an invitation for dinner for my beloved book club a few weeks later.
Upon arrival — with a posted doorman — the interior of Josette is a wash of pinks and greens, with art from London-based artist and interior designer Luke Edward Hall. The restaurant, broken into a small cafe, club area, and main dining room, is an ample space next door to the Arts Club at ICD Brookfield. Guests can expect OTT chandeliers, an open kitchen, a stage, and a beautiful bar. As stunning as all these fixtures are, what is not to be missed are the bathrooms — which are (literally) the best in the city. And yes, I will stake my entire reputation on this statement.
