Located at the stunning Four Seasons Florence, after delicious and beautifully presented drinks at the in-house bar, The Atrium (sidebar: a must visit), escorted by the GM, we made our way to our reservation for Il Palagio*, a Michelin-starred restaurantā¦which I have some opinions about.
After a heavy lunch at Gucci Osteria* earlier in the day, I wasnāt particularly in the mood for a full degustation, but here we are, and itās what I do. Itās perhaps worth mentioning that the Il Palagio restaurant does double duty and functions as both the ADD for the hotel and a Michelin-starred restaurant for dinner service. What I mean to say is that guests who are staying on the property will have already had breakfast in this exact same space. TBF, itās an excellent breakfast, and the setup at dinner is slightly different (think: less breakfast buffet).
