Honestly, I debated whether or not to waste my time writing this, as I firmly believe Hidemasa won’t be open in the near future. However, for every glowing review I give, it is an actual delight to write about terrible experiences. I’ve given the below feedback to the PR team (as the restaurant certainly wasn’t bothered to hear what I had to say). Do I expect any changes? Not really.
Let us begin by saying the venue is impossible to find. Should you find yourself at Al Fattan Currency House — which I am strongly convinced is 100% cursed for F&B outlets — the restaurant has almost no signage (except a large picture of Chef Hidemasa tucked away on the first floor, but no actual directions). My friend and I have to go to two different security guards to finally find our destination.
