Named after the French slang phrase for “Chez Moi,” which means “At Mine,” the venue is inspired by the idea of being invited to a friend’s house for lunch or dinner.
When the team behind Tagomago, Twiggy By La Cantine, Mimi Kakushi, and La Cantine Du Faubourg open a new restaurant, you pay attention (hello, Rikas!). Helming the kitchen is Chef Hadrien Villedieu, who has spent many years working alongside big-name chefs, including Joël Robuchon, Alain Passard, and Jean Pierre Vigato. I had been looking forward to going to Chez Wam since I heard about the concept in December 2022 (!). Chef Hadrien is known to many in the city as the successful and highly creative chef behind the now-closed property, Inked (RIP). The Frenchman is beloved by many, and we are all happy to see his restaurant finally open.
