A return trip to Catch has been in the making for a number of years. Full disclosure: I think I visited the last time in 2017. You can find my review here, and yes, I even filmed at the location the same year). Given the gap in visits, I didn’t have particularly high expectations for our experience, but I was delighted to see that the level of service and food has remained well above average. Furthermore, I would be happy to recommend Catch to anyone, especially for lunch service.
Although the journey from the St. Regis is (ahem) not straightforward, once on the correct side of the road, Catch is easy to find and access. Given the extreme heat of the summer, we were more than happy to take a seat inside. The interior hasn’t changed, but it’s still a vibrant, light space with an open sushi counter and a relatively open kitchen.
