A tale of new seasons (I).

moonrise*, #10 MENA's 50 Best 2023.

As I make the rounds in Dubai this season and experience new menus, it feels right to create a unique category. I wanted to dig deeper than Second Helpings and into some of Dubai’s best and most celebrated restaurants. Expected in this series: Tresind Studio, Ossiano, moonrise, and BOCA, with potentially more to come.

Returning to moonrise after some absence to experience the new season was important to me (and ICYMI, you can catch my original visit here). The slightly expanded location (12 seats to the original 8) remains at Eden House and now has its alcohol license (which they are definitely putting to work). Given current traffic patterns in Dubai, the venue is a (frustrating) hour one way from my house in the Springs. The location also remains quite warm in mid-September, or perhaps I’m just a 43 year-old-woman. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
