I’ve done this particular exercise in past years — 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 — should you want to read it. As always, I think it’s good to reflect on a year and what meals resonated. As with last year, I personally don’t believe they always have to be at award-winning restaurants — the best meals of your life can (and probably should) be about the people you were with.
Also, wow, I not only ate some amazing meals this year but had such quality time with friends and family when doing so. Narrowing this list down was a more difficult effort than I initially realized.
Top Three Meals:
Alpinn 4 hands collab, Chef Norbert x Chef Andreas. Okay, it’s not just that this is a representation of a collective six Michelin stars (and a Green Star); it’s that the space was spectacular, the food and wine were amazing, and the company was infinitely amusing. Arriving at any restaurant via ski lift is forever how I want to dine (even if it’s -4C). Check out the evening here.
