Before we get into this review, let’s get one thing clear: in a city of ‘spenny spends, 12 Chairs might be at the upper echelon of just about every other place I think of (or have visited). While there is a range of a la carte options, the omakase menu is AED1200 per person. The full menu (with all its pricey glory) can be seen here. It’s not that this price point is entirely out of line; it’s more that this pricing runs near the current Ossiano degustation menu, which involves quite a bit more food.
